Ginger and Lemon Protect Tea

INGREDIENTS


  • 300 ml filtered water

  • 6 slices fresh ginger

  • 1 tbsp Manuka honey

  • 2 cm piece cinnamon bark

  • 5 cm strip lemon peel

  • ½ lemon, squeezed

  • slice of lemon (optional)

  • sprig of thyme to serve (optional)

METHOD


  1. Place all ingredients in small pan, bring to the boil, turn off heat and steep for 5 minutes.

  2. Strain and pour into a cup, add a squeeze of lemon juice and sprig of thyme.
